Your fire can create an incredible atmosphere in a room. Whether you’re entertaining friends or having a cosy night in, your fire, whether that be electric, gas or a wood-burning stove creates the perfect ambience of friendly, inviting warmth. A crackle from a burning log, the perfect backlighting tone on an electric fire or the dancing flame on a gas fire sitting in a limestone surround – there is so much your fire can provide.
During the festive period, dancing flames complement Christmas trees and decorations. A true focal point, which can very easily draw you into trace.
Electric Fires:
Electric fires have shot to stardom in recent years, with their range of incredible designs to cater for all rooms, styles, sizes and budgets. Versatility comes as standard with electric, where you can enjoy a range of options to create a fire, designed to fit your tastes and interior designs. Thanks to a range of technological advancements realistic flame effects, active glowing fuel beds, LED lighting strips, and anti-reflective glass can, as near as possible, create a “real fire” look without any of the work!

Gas Fires:
Gas fires continue to improve in efficiency and design. Gone are the days when you had a choice of a few 16″ hole-in-wall fires. While 16″ gas fires are still popular, there is now an extended and growing range. With efficiencies of over 90% for some models, gas fires represent a leap forward in efficient warmth. Furthermore, many of our gas fires are now hydrogen blend ready. This means these fires can run on 20% blended hydrogen, which is already in the advanced stages of trials in the UK and represents a big carbon saving for users. Blending up to 20% hydrogen into the gas grid with 80% existing natural gas could save up to 6 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions every year.
Our gas fires are a mix of balanced flue or conventional flue designs with many of them being able to fit into a 32″ or 36″ standard chimney breast without the need for additional building work. Whether you prefer a gas fire with a stunning limestone surround or a flush-fitting hole-in-wall fire – both create an impact in a room.

Wood-Burning Stoves:
Since the outrageous energy price increases earlier in 2022, more people than ever are deciding to go off-grid and burn wood to stay warm. However, it’s not just this price hike that is causing more people than ever to burn wood. There is something quite special about seeing logs burn. While an open fire looks great, they are incredibly inefficient and are banned in some areas. That is why Ecodesign stoves have become so desirable, you still enjoy viewing wood burn but in a much more efficient, environmentally friendly way. Like with other fires, you can opt to have a limestone surround, which really captures the magic of a stove. But you’re certainly not just limited to limestone, you can opt for an inglenook stove or one which is freestanding.
This time of year a stove has a particular enchantment.
