Many of our electric fires come with optional LED mood lighting. Our LED lighting is compatible with all of our Luminosa, Opulus, iRange, and 4D Ecoflame models and continues to be very popular with those that want an added dimension to their fire.
There are 13 mood light colours available with our fires, and if you count the option that rotates through all the colours, there are 14. Here they are:
We often talk about the benefits of our LEDs, the varying colours, and how they can alter the mood in a room. But how do these colour options actually help promote certain moods? The vast majority of the time, it is based purely on how you feel.
Create the perfect mood – for everyone
But what if you are having friends over and you want to create the perfect mood or inviting new neighbours for drinks? You can guess – or be a little more scientific, which is why we have created a guide to help you understand what different colours mean and what, typically, people feel when they are exposed to different colours.
White – promotes simplicity, innocence and honesty. These points are perhaps not the most prominent feelings most consider when deciding on your LEDs, but white may be a great colour if you want to create an uncluttered look to a room. It is also ideal if you have limited space or want to promote a more natural light effect.
Red promotes excitement, strength, and love. It is the perfect LED colour option for a party or perhaps a romantic evening.
Amber/Orange – promotes warmth, confidence, success, and joy. There is good reason why amber is one of the most popular colours to have with our LEDs. Promoting warmth and joy goes hand in hand with a stunning fire in a room. It’s a colour you can be confident everyone will love!
Green – promotes nature, growth and freshness. Similar to white, these feelings may not be in most people’s minds when deciding on the perfect LED colour, but this colour could work if you want to emphasise a ‘back to nature’ feel, which may be more popular in more rural or rustic homes. Or simply if you love green!
Blue – promotes trust, peace and calmness. Ideal when you want to create a calming atmosphere in your home or want to reduce tension and fear – perfect when you are inviting new neighbours around or anyone you’re not that familiar with.
Lilac/Purple/Mauve – promotes luxury, warmth and calmness. The perfect tones when you want to emphasise an opulent feel to a room or show off your new fire – and, of course, warmth, which everyone wants!
Ultimately, it comes down to you what colour you want, and should you get bored with one colour, you have another 12 to choose from. That’s the beauty of our LED mood lighting.
